Proposals

You were asked to think about another writing task (grants, honors thesis, scientific report or article, creative piece, etc.) and then construct a formal proposal (in memo format) to submit. Copy the draft of your proposal as a comment to this blog posting.

Readibility

Once you have completed the "text" for your poster board, conduct a readability test and post your scores here. Tell us if your text appropriately addresses its audience based on the score. If it doesn't, how would you revise the text to help adjust its readability?

Introduction for Poster Board

After reading and reviewing the two in-class handouts about Introduction "elements" and "strategies", write an Introduction for the topic you have chosen for your poster board and post it in the comment window. This Introduction should reveal the topic of your poster (either interpretive or informative), and should be ready for public reading (in other words, check spelling, syntax, logic, organization, and readability). Even if you are doing a group project, write your own unique introduction.

Here's a link to a new way to hang poster boards!!! Using Magnetic Paint!!! Has anyone tried it?

And if you want to promote your poster, how about advertising it and making a few Zazzle bucks on the side?
